europe and trends

i'm back from the trip that seemed like forever. so many hipsters in Europe!! is that the correct term??...who cares? Paris is FULL of them. Do they not realize that being against mainstream but being like EVERYBODY ELSE is the same thing as being mainstream?? It's almost like a little photography vintage cliche to be strolling through Paris and all i see is vintage run down bikes, floral patterns, vintage skirts paired with 80s earrings and stockings. In London, there were even more stockings. Although UK hipsters have a different flare. But then i joined the trend by buying trendy macaroons and bird accessories. And everybody wears Toms...ok very very worn toms, those tiny buns as hair styles and lots of vintage everything. A few years ago, in Paris, it was all about boho fashion. It changed so much! ANd it's weird because you walk down the street and you see a vintage outfit, then another, then another, then you're surrounded by a sea of vintage trendy kids and you they're all different but all the same at the same time. I think the best is to see a hipster ride his scooter through a sea of cars. They really should be more careful how they drive. That goes for everybody. Driving in Europe is madness. I don't think they have actual road rules. And when you see these tiny motor vehicles pass cars by going on oncoming traffic lane, it makes me close my eyes and wish for the best. pictures(not necessarily of hipsters) will come soon. As expected, i broke my back hauling a giant bag of vintage film with me and i only used a quarter of it. And I just realized...using vintage cameras with vintage(expired cheap ebay film) makes me a hipster too. As per hipster rules. I'm pretty sure plastic camera fantastic Holga is the ultimate hipster photo tool. BAHAHAH. or maybe they use Smena.
